The bands are a record of time. Agate forms in a cavity, layer settling on layer as mineral-rich water moves through, and each pale blue and white line here is one of those depositions — thin, parallel, slightly wavering where the cavity wall was uneven. Cut across, they read as lace.
A quiet blue, closest to the colour of a sky just before it clears. 10 mm, on the smaller wrist size.
