Golden Hematoid Quartz Bracelet — 15 mm (Strand B)

The same family as our red hematoid quartz, but the iron here reads gold. Quartz crystallised around goethite and limonite instead of hematite, and the result is a honey-coloured cloud suspended inside each bead — dense enough in some to be nearly opaque, barely present in others.

At 15 mm these are large beads and the weight is deliberate. Held to daylight the gold separates from the clear and you can see how far into each bead it actually goes, which is the thing a photograph never quite carries.

This is the second of two strands from the same lot, listed separately. Strand A is close to it but not identical — the gold sits differently in these beads.
