The same multicolour rutilated quartz as our larger strands, cut small. At 10 mm there are more beads on the wrist and the strand reads as a pattern rather than as a set of individual stones — the rust, grey and pale green alternate closely enough that you see the rhythm before you see any one bead.

This is the version to wear daily. Smaller beads sit flatter under a cuff and take knocks better, and quartz at 7 on Mohs is hard enough not to mind.
