Amethyst Bracelet, Dusky Purple — 8 mm

The darkest of our small amethysts, and the least uniform. The purple here leans grey, some beads carry a smoky zone beside the violet, and the tone shifts from bead to bead rather than matching.

There is more going on inside as well: veils, fracture planes and fine pale needles, all easy to see because the quartz itself is transparent. The bright purple line through the middle of each bead is the cord, not the stone.

It is less even and more included than our lavender 8 mm. Some people prefer it for exactly that reason.
