Green Quartz Bracelet, Cushion Beads — 9 mm

Pale green quartz cut as soft-cornered cubes rather than rounds, about 9 mm across. The shape gives each bead flat faces to look through, and what you see inside is fine white wisps and veils crossing clear, faintly green quartz.

Said plainly: green is uncommon in transparent quartz as it comes out of the ground. Most green quartz sold — the trade name is prasiolite — is amethyst or pale quartz changed by heat or irradiation, and we would assume that here. We hold no treatment documentation for this material. The colour is a light wash of green, not a saturated one.
