Tiger's Eye Bracelet, Gold & Blue — Top Grade

The top sort of gold-and-blue tiger's eye. Our supplier grades this material into three tiers, and this is the highest — picked for the things that make the stone worth looking at: saturated colour on both sides of the boundary, a band of light that runs clean and bright across each bead, and a sharp line where gold turns to blue.

The stone is the same as in our everyday Gold & Blue strand. Tiger's eye and hawk's eye share one bead: quartz threaded with crocidolite fibre whose iron altered to gold in some places and stayed blue-black in others. The difference is selection. Side by side, the everyday strand reads as a mix. This one reads as contrast.

At 6 mm the effect is quick and fine — flashes of gold and steel as the wrist turns, easy to stack. At 8 mm the split inside each bead starts to show. At 10 mm the band of light is wide enough to follow from gold into blue, and every bead carries its own distinct boundary.

Photos show a representative strand. The balance of gold and blue differs bead to bead, so yours will not match it exactly. One strand in each size — when a size sells, that size is gone.
