Crystal Pendulum Pendant, Wire-Wrapped

A small faceted point of natural stone, wrapped by hand in copper-tone wire — a twisted strand wound in loose spirals around the body, a few tumbled stone chips tucked into the wrap, and a loop at the top. Hang it from a chain or cord as a pendant, or hold the chain still and let it settle as a pendulum.

What makes a pendulum move is well understood. The swing comes from your own hand: small, unconscious muscle movements known as the ideomotor effect. We think that is the interesting part rather than a disappointing one. Ask it a question and notice what you were hoping it would say.

Six stones, the same wrap:

Rose quartz — soft, milky pink.
Amethyst — purple quartz, from pale lilac to deeper violet.
Tiger's eye — honey-gold over brown, with a band of light that slides across the facets as it turns.
Green aventurine — opaque sage-green quartz; some pieces catch a faint glitter from tiny mica flakes inside.
Clear quartz — clear to milky white.
Black agate — an even, glossy black. Said plainly: black agate is almost always dyed to get that colour, and we assume this is too.

Each point is wrapped by hand, so the wire pattern, the chips and the stone itself vary from piece to piece. The small accent chips are mixed and may include dyed stone. Photos are the maker's and show representative pieces; yours will differ.
