Hematoid Quartz Bracelet — 15 mm

Clear quartz that grew around iron. The rust-red and apricot clouds suspended inside each bead are hematite and lepidocrocite — minerals already sitting in the ground when the quartz began to crystallise, and enclosed as it did. Every bead carries a different arrangement; a few hold the fine internal haze the Chinese trade calls mian, cotton.

At 15 mm these are large beads, and the weight is the point. A bracelet you can feel is a bracelet you remember you are wearing.
