Joya Mana 系列

Crystal Pendulum, Egg-Shaped

US$6 USD

A smooth, egg-shaped stone, tumbled and polished, clipped to a fine silver-tone chain with a small filigree bead at the other end to hold. The weight sits low and round, so it swings in slow, even arcs rather than snapping to a point.

What makes a pendulum move is well understood. The swing comes from your own hand: small, unconscious muscle movements known as the ideomotor effect. We think that is the interesting part rather than a disappointing one. Ask it a question and notice what you were hoping it would say.

Four stones:

Rose quartz — soft, milky pink.
Amazonite — sea-green feldspar with fine white streaks running through it.
Blue kyanite — bright blue patches in a grey matrix. Said plainly: this is the maker's name for it. From the photo it looks to us closer to blue apatite than to kyanite, which usually shows long bladed streaks; we will check it in hand and correct the name if we are right.
Black iron stone — dark grey with a soft metallic sheen. This is a trade name (黑铁石); we have not had the mineral identified and would rather say so than guess.

Each stone is natural, so colour and pattern vary from piece to piece. Photos are the maker's and show representative pieces; yours will differ.

Specs
Egg-shaped stone ≈ 20 × 36 mm · ≈ 20 g · silver-tone chain with lobster clasp and filigree bead · choose stone above · measurements and photos from the maker

Every piece ships with the Joya Mana guidebook — a short sequence that starts with simply looking at the stone, moves to noticing what you notice, and ends with one intention written in your own words. We make no claims about what the crystal does. We do think an object you return to daily is a useful place to put your attention.
