Chakra Crystal Pendulum, Seven-Colour Wrap

A six-sided stone point, about 5 cm long, wrapped in copper-tone wire that holds a row of seven small stone chips down its face. It hangs from a copper-tone rolo chain; at the other end — the end you hold — a short strand of seven round beads runs yellow, blue, orange, green, red, violet and clear.

The seven colours follow the chakra sequence, which is where this design comes from. We mention it as the design's origin, not as a claim about what it does.

What makes a pendulum move is well understood. The swing comes from your own hand: small, unconscious muscle movements known as the ideomotor effect. We think that is the interesting part rather than a disappointing one. Ask it a question and notice what you were hoping it would say.

Four stones for the point:

Amethyst — purple quartz, paler toward the base.
Rose quartz — soft, milky pink.
Lapis lazuli — deep blue with lighter flecks. Said plainly: lapis at this price is often colour-enhanced, and we can't rule that out here.
Green aventurine — opaque green quartz.

The small chips and round beads are mixed stones, and some are likely dyed. Each point is natural stone, so colour and pattern vary from piece to piece. Photos are the maker's and show representative pieces; yours will differ.
